Hello, I’m David Lyons. Throughout my 20+ years as a relationship therapist, I've encountered many couples caught in the silence of emotional disengagement. Each session targets different phases crucial for couples. We cover expressing needs, navigating emotional reactions, and rebuilding trust. The sessions include practical exercises, personalized discussions, and continuous support to ensure significant improvements in understanding, emotional connection, and communication within your relationship.

What’s covered in the program?

This program covers essential aspects necessary for re-engaging with one another. We focus on enhancing communication, managing emotional reactions, advocating for personal needs, and fostering intimacy. You'll learn how to break negative cycles, communicate effectively even under stress, express needs without fear, and ultimately strengthen your emotional bond.

Who’s this for, and not for?

This therapy is ideal for individuals and couples eager to change and improve their relationships. It’s particularly beneficial for those experiencing communication breakdowns, emotional struggles, feelings of disconnection, or ruptures in trust. Is this in person, or virtual?

I have an office for in-person sessions in Columbus, Ohio, but I mostly see clients virtually using Zoom. The virtual meetings afford more flexible scheduling, and allow you to be in the privacy of your home. This is really helpful for couples work.
